PRIVACY POLICY

illustration_rgdp_redim_1.jpgIn accordance with the law “informatique et libertés” (French Data Protection Act) of January 6, 1978 modified by the bill of August 6, 2004, the regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 applicable since May 25, 2018, and the bill of June 21, 2014 for building confidence in the Digital Economy, the ENS de Lyon commits to comply with the current applicable regulations regarding personal data processing.   

Personal data is collected and processed for the following purpose: the 14th International Eclogite Conference

Personal data will be processed by the Congress and Events Department (Cellule congrès et manifestations), the Information Systems Department (Direction des systèmes d’information) the Financial Affairs Department (Direction des affaires financières) and the Accounting Department (Agence comptable) of the “ENS de Lyon”, as well as the Geology Laboratory (Laboratoire de Géologie).

 

The ENS de Lyon President, Mr. Jean-François PINTON, is legally responsible for personal data processing. The legal basis for the processing is the accomplishment of a public interest mission.

In accordance with the current legal and regulatory provisions, the person whose personal data is collected has the right to access, rectify, update and delete information which concerns him or her, right she or he can exercise by contacting: dpo@ens-lyon.fr

Collected personal data information will be saved for a period of 5 (five) years. All the data will be stored in France. The ENS de Lyon commits to taking all necessary precautions to guarantee the security of the data and in particular to ensure that it is not communicated to unauthorized persons.

In the event of cancellation on the behalf of a participant, please note that registrations cannot be reimbursed.

In the event of the cancellation or postponement of the symposium due to force majeure, participants have the right to ask for a full refund of their registration fees.

Participants who have already paid the registration fees may upon specific request ask for their full refund. In order to obtain the refund participants will be required to complete the registration fees refund form and provide the necessary bank information.

If the payment of the registration fees was completed by a third party, please note that this third party and only this third party may be reimbursed.
